14 Days Rwanda Uganda safaris can begin from Entebbe in Uganda or Kigali airport in Rwanda. Referred to as the Pearl of Africa, Uganda is a home of beautiful sightings like wildlife, scenery and favorable weather conditions. The 14 days safari will take you to several Uganda and Rwanda destinations including Murchison falls national park which is known for encompassing the most powerful waterfalls in the world, Kibale forest national park which is referred to as the primate world since it hosts over 13 primate species, Queen Elizabeth national park that is popular for the rare tree climbing lions, and the beautiful volcanic sceneries like deep craters, volcanic cones and others. Also, the safari will take you Bwindi Impenetrable national park, a home to approximately 500 gorilla individuals.
From here, you will cross border to the Republic of Rwanda for a combined encounter of gorillas and golden monkeys in Volcanoes national park and then proceed with a luxurious boat cruise and game viewing experience in Akagera national park. From there, you will make a transfer to Kigali for your departure flight or other destinations of your choice.

Day 1 - Arrival at Entebbe airport and transfer to Kampala
On your first day of the 14 days Rwanda Uganda safari, you will be welcomed by your driver/guide who will brief you about the trip and later transfer to Kampala for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Cassia lodge. Savannah Suites
Day 2 - Transfer to Murchison falls
Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park with a scenic drive to the park and lunch en route. An en route visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking is highly rewarding. Upon the arrival at the park, you will have a 2 hours’ drive to the top of Murchison falls will make your highlight of this day. A remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge is one of the world wonders Accommodation: Kabalega wilderness lodge, Pakuba safari lodge
Day 3 - Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up for an early morning game drive where you will see a variety of animals like buffalos, elephants, lions and several antelope species. Later, return to your lodge for breakfast and lunch and in the afternoon a boat cruise up to the bottom of the falls brings you closer to Hippos, crocodiles and a plethora of migratory birds along the banks of Albert Nile. Return to the lodge in the evening for an Overnight stay.
Day 4 - Transfer to Kibale National park
In the morning after your breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer to Kibale forest National Park with a relaxed drive through the verdant country side enjoying views of the crop plantations and the rift valley escarpment. Accommodation: Chimpundu Lodge, Kibale Safari Lodge , Turaco Tree tops
Day 5 - Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Rwenzoris Mountains National Park
After your breakfast, proceed to Kanyanchu for briefing from the park warden as you prepare for chimpanzee tracking. Other primates you expect to encounter in this tropical rainforest include the grey checked mangabeys, L’Hoest’s, red-tailed and the vervet monkeys. After transfer to Rwenzori Mountains National Park for the feel of Rwenzori Mountains Dinner and overnight at Equator Snow Lodge
Day 6 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and boat cruise
After your breakfast, go for the Rwenzori Feel on 1 hour to 3 hours nature walk and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival in the park, you will go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel giving you a great opportunity to see varieties of wildlife including migratory and Albertine endemic birds and mammals such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes and some antelope species among others. Day 7 - Game drive and chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge
On this day a morning game drive to the northern sector (Kasenyi) will offer you an opportunity to encounter cats including leopards and lions, if you are lucky. This trail is gifted with big herds of elephants, buffaloes and different antelope species. Later, return to the lodge for your late breakfast as you prepare for a chimpanzee trekking experience in Kyambura Gorge.
Day 8 - Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, set off for a game dive in Ishasha sector where you will have an opportunity of sighting the rare tree climbing lions. Depending on the day’s weather, you may be lucky to find lions near the road or enter deep in park to look for them. Proceed through the rolling beautiful hills of Kigezi to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Accommodation: Mahogany Springs, Bwindi Lodge
Day 9 - Gorilla trekking experience
After your early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. On return, you will be driven back to your lodge for your evening relaxation, dinner and overnight
Day 10 - Transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda
Wake up for your early morning breakfast and transfer to Volcanoes National Park crossing the Uganda Rwanda border. Accommodation: Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco lodge
Day 11 - Gorilla trekking and transfer to Kigali
In the morning after your breakfast, you will go for a pre trek briefing at the park headquarters for gorilla trekking experience. The experience involves hiking through the rainforest of the park in search of the gentle apes. Once allocated, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence as you enjoy their daily lifestyles. On return from the experience, you will make a transfer to Kigali for dinner and overnight Accommodation: Five to Five hotels, Kigali Serena hotel
Day 12 - Transfer to Akagera national park and boat cruise
In the morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Akagera National Park. On arrival in the park, take a game drive for wildlife viewing. Expect to spot big five animals like lions, elephants, and many others. In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise on Lake Akagera where you will spot several bird species and water animals. Accommodation: Ruzizi Tented lodge, Akagera game lodge.
Day 13 - Full day game drive in Akagera National Park
You will have the whole day for game drives in Akagera NP. The northern sector of the park larger concentrations of wildlife species including the big five mammals are quite a great attraction to most visitors
Day 14 - Transfer to Kigali for your departure flight
In the morning after breakfast, you will have your transfer back to Kigali for a drop off at your hotel or airport depending on your schedule.
