The 3 Days Bisoke Mountaineering tour tailored by 6summits take you to explore Mount Bisoke is the 3rd highest mountain within Volcanoes National park. During the hike, explore the beautiful sceneries of the region including the fauna and flora species and while at the top, enjoy fantastic views of the other five volcanoes and twin lakes.
Also at the summit, there is a crater lake and the vegetation here is always drier than in other areas of the park which hosts the mountain gorillas, Golden monkey. We do offer Safari add-on to explore the mountain gorillas on gorilla trekking staying in midrange accommodations.
Details
Day 1: Transfer to Musanze
In the early morning, you will be picked up at the airport or hotel in Kigali by your driver/guide who will brief you about the safari. You will then be transferred to Musanze and this drive will take about 3 to 4 hours. As you continue with the drive, expect to have lots of stopovers and later check in at your lodge/hotel of booking for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Bisoke hiking
Wake up for your early morning breakfast and your packed lunch as you transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi for your briefing before setting off for hiking. During the hike, you will cross through different vegetation habitats starting with the bamboo forests, Hypericum forest and finally moving through the Lobelia bush which is near the summit. The hike will take about 7 to 8 hours and thus returning to the lodge in the evening hours for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali
Have your morning breakfast and prepare for your transfer to Kigali where you will have lunch and also go for a city tour before catching up your departure flight.
